Details of Online Registration
Welcome and thanks for taking your first step to join the second year “Bi-city Youth Cultural Leadership Programme” organized by the Hong Kong Palace Museum and supported by Swire Properties. From July to August 2023, you will get to meet with 16 other participants from two cities and attend bi-city cultural exchange, training sessions, and internship, thus conducting innovation and trial implementation. You will travel between Hong Kong and Beijing in person to visit a series of culture and arts institutions as well as walk around various communities and attend a series of workshops and masterclasses, you will also be able to attend internships in culture and arts institutions in Hong Kong, and have ideation, co-creation and idea pitching with other participants, it is even possible to bring your idea into reality.

We are recruiting university students who mainly stay in Beijing or Hong Kong for the past two years. From July to August 2023, you will get to meet with 16 other participants from two cities and attend bi-city cultural exchange, training sessions, and internship, thus conducting innovation and trial implementation. You will travel between Hong Kong and Beijing in person to visit a series of culture and arts institutions as well as walk around various communities and attend a series of workshops and masterclasses, you will also be able to attend internships in culture and arts institutions in Hong Kong, and have ideation, co-creation and idea pitching with other participants, it is even possible to bring your idea into reality.

Eligibility
- Year 2 or 3 undergraduate students from Hong Kong and Beijing from all disciplines
- interested in culture & arts and development in museums, and aspiring for career development in the field after graduation
- Open-minded and willing to exchange with other youth
- Must be able to participate in all sessions and fully engage in the programme

Selection Criteria
- Ability to narrate and create
- Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Passion and experience in the art and museum sectors
- Creativity and curiosity
- Availability and readiness to participate throughout the programme
- Language ability (both English and Putonghua)

1. Fill in the Online Registration Form.
2. Please submit a self-introduction deck of no more than 10 pages in different formats including writing, drawing or any medium, and response to the following questions:
- Personal Expectations: personal dreams and aspirations, and interest in this programme (150 - 200 words in English; 250 - 300 words in Chinese)
- Cultural perspectives: share a cultural product/experience (e.g. book, exhibition, film, festival, digital game, cultural tour, etc) you have found remarkable to you or to your city and tell us why (150 - 200 words in English; 250 - 300 words in Chinese)
- Museums and Art for the future : how do you see museums and art institutions evolving in the future? (150 - 200 words in English; 250 - 300 words in Chinese)
